Winter Solitaire is a fun an interesting variation on the classic game of Pyramid Solitaire.
The game starts with a layout the same as Pyramid – 21 cards in 6 rows, in the shape of a triangle. Unlike Pyramid, however, the goal here is to remove cards in pairs of the same value. Also unlike Pyramid, the stock is turned over 3 cards at a time, and all 3 cards are available for matching.
The final difference is that Winter Solitaire uses numerical cards rather than facecards – 11-12-13 instead of J-Q-K, and 1 instead of A.
The aim of the game is to clear all the cards – both the tableau and the stock/storehouse – as quickly as possible. The game is timed, and bonus points are awarded for quick play.
This game features mellow graphics, easy-to-read playing cards, and addictive gameplay. It requires Flash.
